Privacy Policy

Armani Homes Ltd. builds custom homes in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Burnaby. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal information under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

1. What we collect

Through the contact form

Your name, email address, phone number (optional), the project type you select, and whatever you write in the message field.

By email, phone, or social media

Whatever you choose to tell us when you get in touch.

Automatically

Our hosting provider records standard web server information such as IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested. This keeps the site running and helps block abuse.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on this site. We do not ask for financial information, government identification, or any other sensitive personal information through this website, and you should not send it to us here.

2. Why we collect it

• To prepare a scope, budget, or schedule if you ask for one
• To follow up on a conversation you started with us
• To keep records we are required to keep, and to protect our legal interests

We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone.

3. Consent

When you send the contact form or email us, you are consenting to us collecting and using your information for the purposes listed above. If we ever want to use it for something else, we will ask you first.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@armanihomes.ca. We will action it within a reasonable period. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer answer your enquiry or continue discussing a project with you. Withdrawal applies going forward. It does not undo anything already done with your consent, and it does not override information we are legally required to keep.

4. Who else sees it

Service providers

This website and its contact form are hosted by Netlify. Form submissions are stored on Netlify's systems and forwarded to our email inbox. Netlify stores and processes data outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held outside Canada may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities of that country under its laws. If you would rather not have your details stored outside Canada, contact us by phone or postal mail instead of using the form.

People working on your project

If your enquiry moves forward, we may share relevant details with designers, engineers, suppliers, trades, warranty providers, or municipal staff involved in your build. We share only what the work actually requires.

Legal and business requirements

We may disclose personal information where the law requires or permits it, including to comply with a court order, a regulator, or an investigation, and where PIPA otherwise allows disclosure without consent.

5. How long we keep it

Where we have used your personal information to make a decision that directly affects you, we keep that information for at least one year afterward, as PIPA requires, so you have a fair chance to ask for access to it.

Otherwise, we keep enquiries only as long as we have a business or legal reason to, then delete them or strip out anything identifying. Records tied to an actual project are kept for as long as our contracts, warranty obligations, and tax and limitation periods require.

If you want your enquiry deleted sooner, email us and we will do it, unless we are required to keep it.

6. How we protect it

We limit access to enquiry information to the people at Armani Homes who need it to do their job. This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are held behind access-controlled accounts with our hosting provider.

7. Access and correction

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, how we have used it, and who we have given it to. Email info@armanihomes.ca with enough detail for us to find the record. We will respond within 30 business days, or tell you if we need more time and why.

There are limited situations where PIPA allows or requires us to withhold information, such as where it would reveal personal information about someone else or disclose confidential commercial information. If that happens, we will tell you which part we are withholding and why.

If any information we hold about you is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it, and pass the correction on to anyone we disclosed it to in the past year where it is reasonable to do so.

9. Links to other websites

This site links to Facebook and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Once you leave this site or load a resource from another company, that company's own privacy policy applies and ours does not. We are not responsible for how other websites or services collect and handle your information, and we recommend reading their policies before you use them.

10. Children

This website is intended for adults arranging residential construction work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, email us and we will delete it.

11. About the content on this site

Project descriptions, photographs, timelines, service descriptions, and any figures on this website are general information only. They are not a quote, an offer, a warranty, or a contract, and site content may be updated or corrected at any time without notice.

Sending an enquiry does not create a builder and client relationship. That relationship begins only under a signed written agreement between you and Armani Homes Ltd., and the terms of that agreement govern the work.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Armani Homes Ltd. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, from reliance on its content, from the site being unavailable, or from the acts or omissions of third parties including our hosting and email providers.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects how we handle information already collected, we will take reasonable steps to let affected people know.
